I am so sorry to see that Donna has passed. I use to work with her at Honeywell and she was always so kind to me. We lost touch with each other not long after she left the company. She was great to work with and she was good at inspiring. I see the comments below about her daughter Avery, who was just so little when Donna left but I remember how much she loved her then also. I also will never forget Donna almost getting a ticket one day when she raced home, speeding all the way being chased by the police, to get home to Avery because there had been a mix up on who was taking her to day care on that day. Normally Donna did it but on that particular day she had an early meeting and Avery's Dad was suppose to. However, it wasn't the norm for him and he left for work as he normally does without taking her to daycare. Donna was beside herself when she had called Avery's Dad later to find out how it went that morning and discovered Avery was still at home in her crib. Obviously she was fine but Donna was certainly a mamma bear that day and was not going to let that policeman keep her from her baby. I believe she did not get a ticket after explaining what happened. I hope she found lots of happiness in these years that I lost track of her. A wonderful co-worker and mother.

Almost 20 years of friendship is not enough. If my life were a puzzle, it’s now missing a beautiful piece. Donna, I will miss making you laugh at the craziness that is my life, and hearing you tell me that I am stronger than I think I am. I will continue to love Avery and promise to always be there for her. I should have told you how much your friendship meant to me before you were gone. I will see you again, in the presence of our Savior where everything is just like you like it, perfectly in place, completely organized and always on time. Rest in the arms of Jesus now, Avery, your family and all of your friends miss you so much. I will certainly, without doubt, see you later. :two_hearts:

Always admired Donna for her intelligence and drive. Love how devoted a mother she was, her love for and pride in Avery shown through in every Facebook posting. It was beautiful how much she adored her mother and sister. Rest in peace dear friend. You will be missed.
