A memorial service will be held at Victory Baptist Church, 300 Frank Mehaffey Rd, Maggie Valley, NC 28751 on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. The family will also hold a Celebration of Life event in Raleigh (date TBA).

Dear Trey and Robbie, I was so sorry to just hear about the passing of your mother a year ago. We spent many, many hours together and with our families at North Hills Club. I am so happy that I got to visit with her when she was in the hospital. I think it was good for both of us to reminisce about the happy times we spent together. She was an amazing woman, so smart and talented. I cherish the memories we shared. I hope you will always remember her love for you boys and her sweet granddaughter. My sincere condolences to you all. Kari Kegl

Trey, Robbie and Emily
This is your cousin from the valley. I personally am heart broken at the news of your Mother's passing. When she first got the diagnosis, she texted me after a few weeks. We texted for days on end, I tried so hard to help keep her spirits up and she fought a good fight. Emily, she loved you so much, my prayer is that you will remember in life everything your Grandmother taught you, but above all remember how special you were to her. Trey and Robbie please don't forget all of your family and friends in Maggie Valley and bring Emily to visit with us soon.
We all love you so much.

Brenda was full of life and laughter. We also shared many great times at North Hills Club together as we raised our children. May you find solace in the love and prayers of family and friends during this time. We will miss her.
