Notes

On October 27, 2017 at the age of 59, Terri ended her journey with ALS. She is now in God’s hands walking and talking with the rest of the angels. Terri was born in Jacksonville NC and moved to Rockingham NC in middle school. She attended UNC-G and then transferred to Meredith College. She had a successful career in banking and in the real estate industry.

Terri is preceded in death by her father Fred Terrell Hamilton of Rockingham, NC. She is survived by her husband Robert L. Northcutt Jr; children, Kathryn Northcutt of Raleigh, Ashley Northcutt of Greenville NC and Bennett Northcutt of Raleigh NC; mother Doris Hamilton of Raleigh; siblings Judy (Roger) Lamoreaux of Little River SC, and Tommy (Tina) Hamilton of Boiling Springs NC.

Terri was the driving force of the Northcutt family and will be greatly missed. Her husband would like to thank the staff of Full Coverage Private Duty Nursing and the countless friends who made Terri’s journey with ALS remotely bearable.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ALS Association of North Carolina, Chapter at 4 N. Blount Street, Suite#200- Raleigh, NC

Terri and I shared a lot of good times back in our Rockingham days and early moving to the big city of Raleigh days. We lost touch for many years but reconnected right before she was diagnosed. She was a hard working girl who loved life. I'll never forget that sweet smile and sparkle in her eyes that first time we met for lunch, after so many years, as she told me about her beautiful family.
I had the opportunity to work with Ashley while she was interning at our office in preparation for dental school. What an amazing young woman she is. I could see so much of Terri's beauty, drive, and love for life in her.
My heart goes out to all her family as they navigate life without her physical presence although she will live on in all our hearts and minds.
