I knew Woody when he lived in Cadillac, Mi. He was a great friend to my entire family. We shared a lot of time on the golf course and many hours with our Britney Spaniel dogs. My condolences to his family.

I walked past William's house quite frequently with my dog. He used to sit on his side porch and wave to me as I went by...both ways. Occasionally, I would go up his driveway and exchange a few pleasantries. Because of his condition, I couldn't hear him very well so I would go closer...but that didn't always work because his dogs would bark louder than he could speak...so we just waved goodbye!

I'll miss his friendly wave.
