Samuel Martin Young III “Sam” passed away on Monday September 26, 2016 at the age of 34; he was a native of Raleigh, lived a short time in Knightdale and Wilson NC but had returned back to Raleigh a few years ago.

Sam is survived by his parents Samuel Young Jr. and his wife Margaret Jane Young; sister Shannon D. Hawkins; brother-in-law Al Hawkins; nieces Noelle, Gabby and nephew Ronnie; grandparents Vance and Catherin Watkins Sr. all of Raleigh NC. Sam was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Clarence and Margaret Jeffreys.

Sam loved his family as well as spending time working on projects with his dad and watching Washington Redskins games. Working and making things with his hands was a specific enjoyment to Sam as well as working on cars and building things with his dad and grandpa. When he was younger he played and enjoyed soccer for CASL and was team captain for several years.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday September 29th 2016 at 5:30 p.m. at Renaissance Funeral Home followed by a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
