Notes

Larry “Brandon” Ferrell, 32, passed away unexpectedly Monday May 31, 2016 in his Leroy, NY home. Born April 28, 1984, Brandon lived life to its fullest, traveling the world with the many bands that he was a part of, creating music and making lasting friendships worldwide.

Brandon graduated from Mary Phillips in Raleigh, NC in 2001 before moving to Richmond, VA.

He was very influential in the Richmond music scene, starting the record label “No Way Records” and the record store “Vinyl Conflict”. He then moved to Leroy NY with his wife, Lauren, to raise their twins.

He was employed at Amchar Wholesale in Rochester, and worked four years there until his passing.

Brandon is survived by his parents, Larry and Patricia Ferrell, wife Lauren Amiss Ferrell, his children Zoe and Darby, sister Jennifer Ferrell, nieces Eva and Abbey, grandmother Frances Burns as well as an abundance of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Jimmie Ferrell, grandmother Fannie "Dottie" Bailey Ferrell, and grandfather James Milton Burns.

He was a loving father, husband, son, brother as well as a funny, creative man, and he will be dearly missed.

Larry, Pat and Jenny, It's hard to find comforting words at this time, so I share this poem. The tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand. The sun goes down but gentle warmth still lingers on the land. The music stops and yet echoes on in the refrains ...... For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains. Anonymous.

All of the messages and tributes are testimony to a beautiful person who touched so many in his very short life. Praying for peace and comfort for you and your family. Love and hugs, Judy and Brad Bass

I didn't know Brandon as an adult; but as a young boy, he was such a delight to be around. I can't imagine that he would be any different as an adult that is displayed from all the wonderful tributes to him by all those who did know him.

I held Brandon in my arms when he was first born, and then spent years fighting like cats and dogs, like brothers and sisters do... Through it all though, we loved each other and celebrated our talents, triumphs and joy while conforting each other through hard times and weakness. I've never been as proud of another person, and can't believe what an amazing brother, father, and friend he turned out to be. It is hard to picture life without him, and I hope his kids will understand what an awesome daddy they had. He will be deeply missed.
