Hi my name is Kayla and I am a local bible teacher. I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. There is a very comforting scripture at Isaiah 25:8. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can all look forward to a time when death will be no more. I hope that this scripture can bring some true comfort during these difficult times.

Carol, your dad was one of a kind! He always had a joke to share and an old fashioned camera to take photos of any occasion. I can still picture him smiling in the chair in your living room as we celebrated his birthday with Octoberfest. I would sit with him for a bit and listen to some of his stories. He was so proud of you! I am glad we got to have him come to our house for Thanksgiving for a few years! He will be missed!
